Beautiful and functional in equal measure... how we approached the furniture design in this beautiful sitting room ✨

We designed two sofas by William Yeoward, each upholstered in a different fabric to add depth and interest to the scheme.

For the footstools, rather than a single large piece, which would have felt cumbersome in a longer, narrower room, we paired two smaller ones that can be drawn together centrally or pulled separately to the sofa as the occasion demands. Comfort and flexibility were central to the brief, so we upholstered them in an easy-clean animal weave that brings texture and a touch of the wild without ever compromising on practicality.

At the opposite end of the room sits the bespoke media unit, finished in wood to introduce warmth and texture as a natural counterpoint to the softer elements of the space. Metal trellis detailing on the lower drawers adds a considered pop of gold, whilst textured wallpaper to the back of the cabinetry and lacquered mint handles carry the playful thread that runs quietly throughout the whole house.

A beautiful space where function and form really do sit hand in hand ✨

Celebrating this sunny Friday - and the start of the bank holiday weekend - with pure joy in our feed! 🌞🌈

When these twin sisters arrived with magazine inspiration images in hand and Oliver Bonas in their hearts, we knew this was going to be a joy of a project.

Full of colour, full of personality… and every inch of it chosen with them to make the final design a true reflection of them!

Bunk beds gave us so much more space to play with, and the shelving works brilliantly as an alternative to bedside tables… practical and beautiful in equal measure.

Each girl has her own desk and bedside light, and they each chose their own desk chair fabric to add individuality.

The fluting, mix of colours, patterns and prints all came together in the most playful, happy way, and the bedroom and adjoining en-suite really is one of the most fun projects we’ve had the honour of working on 🌿

Have a lovely weekend! 🌞

How to make a log burner the most beautiful focal point in the room - as demonstrated in this rather beautiful sitting room ✨

In this space, building regulations steered us away from a traditional open fire, so we opted for a log burner... and rather than let that feel like a compromise, we treated it as an opportunity to design something truly considered around it. We created a bespoke fluted surround, a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic architectural feature that brings sculptural interest and warmth in equal measure.

Inside the recess, we laid scallop-patterned pink marble tiles, chosen for the way their tones wove naturally into the wider colour scheme of the room. The interplay of the fluted surround against the organic patterning of the marble kept the design feeling both refined and playful, and felt like a quietly fitting nod to the coastal setting of this project.

The result is a fireplace that earns its place as the heart of the room... warm, sculptural, and impossible to walk past without stopping to appreciate it.

THE OFFICE ✨One of our favourite spaces to design, as it was so much more than just a room to work in.

We added built-in cabinetry along the right-hand side, housing a desk alongside a standing electric desk to give the client flexibility in how they wished to work.

For additional seating and storage, we designed a long window seat running along the back of the room, dropping down from the desk.

As you can see through to this elevation from the sitting room, it was important to design something that felt grounded and intentional… rather than practical furniture simply floating within the space.

To finish off the layout, we added a round table, chairs and pendant - a spot others could work from, or use as somewhere to play games or curl up with a book on the built-in bench.

The colour scheme was quite bold for this space… we used Soumak on the walls and cabinetry, and dressed the windows with a beautiful embroidery from .

A grounding, joyful space that is a joy to work in ✨

It's all in the details....✨

Today we are sharing a closer look at the details of the beautiful living room which we shared with you earlier in the week. It is through these small but powerful design choices where this room really comes to life.

Bespoke cushions in fabrics by Madeaux, Romo, and DEDAR - a carefully curated mix that draws together the tones and textures of the wider scheme, and adds that final layer of richness that makes the room feel truly complete.

The story of creating a sitting room that balances calm and character, designed around a client's travels, a well-loved armchair, and a fabric that started it all ✨

Every great room starts somewhere, and for this one, it started with a fabric. Our client had picked it up on her travels, and the palette within it set the tone for everything that followed - light, calming, and layered with just enough personality to keep it from ever feeling too safe.

With doors and windows on every elevation, the room had its quirks to work around, but that's where the fun begins! We centred the furniture around the fireplace to create a natural focal point, whilst a considered arrangement of a bar sideboard, the client's own reupholstered armchair, and a beautiful rug by GP & J Baker gave purpose and warmth to every corner of the space.

The walls were painted in Little Greene Pearl: a soft, airy backdrop that let the layers do the talking. For the curtains we chose a fabric from A Rum Fellow with a glittery trim by Samuel & Sons that shimmers as the light moves through the room.

The lighting was chosen for its depth of colour, balanced carefully to add contrast without disrupting the calm. And finally, we dressed the sofas in a selection of bespoke cushions, each one carefully chosen to bring colour, texture and a sense of the personal into the heart of the room.

The result is a room that feels collected rather than designed... relaxed, personal, and quietly full of detail.

Small but mighty, this laundry room was one of those spaces we had a lot of fun with 🪩

We kept the layout considered and practical: a washer/dryer stack tucked into a compact utility run, with a sink positioned to the right, giving us the perfect opportunity to bring in some beautiful stone for the worktop and splashback. We took the splashback all the way to the top of the cupboards - partly for impact, partly to keep the finish clean and seamless with no unnecessary junctions between materials.

Then came the fun part. The remaining walls are dressed in a small-scale leopard print wallpaper - bold, playful, and completely at home in a laundry room. To finish, we added a disco ball pendant and a brass tap... Because why should the laundry room be boring? ✨

We hope this inspires you to have fun with the small, practical spaces in your own home!

The kitchen is often called the heart of the home - and that’s exactly the feeling we set out to create here. A space that’s social yet practical, perfect for hosting and entertaining, but cosy enough to actually live in ✨

We started with the island. Our client came to us with inspiration images of a gold-wrapped kitchen, so we made it the centrepiece: bold, warm, and impossible to ignore.

From there, we modified a pre-built kitchen that wraps around the room, elevating it with bespoke worktops and an antique mirrored splashback.

The wallpaper was chosen with that same gold inspiration in mind. A brick-pattern design gives the illusion of tiles laid in a soldier formation, while subtle metallic detailing catches the natural light in the most understated way…effortless, but never unnoticed.
