🎄 That’s a wrap for us at Jake’s Odd Jobs! 🎄

As we close off the year, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for trusting me and my team to carry out the work we’ve completed this year. Your support truly means everything to us.

We’ve met some absolutely great customers, and in many cases, customers who have turned into friends, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

I always dreamed of taking the leap into self-employment, and last year I finally took that jump — and what an amazing year it’s been. I couldn’t have done it without the continued support and trust from every single one of you.

📅 Our books are now open from December 29th onwards, and we’re already looking forward to another great year ahead.

💪 Another transformation complete — this time for a local business in Ashby!

We recently carried out a full refurbishment at The Glow Retreat , where there had been some damp issues caused by old pegboard walls from previous owners.

Here’s what we did:
✅ Full rip-out of walls and flooring
✅ Treated all damp areas and applied a liquid DPM
✅ Fully insulated and plasterboarded the room
✅ Added new coving
✅ Laid fresh vinyl flooring
✅ Fully redecorated to create a warm, inviting space for clients

All completed in just 5 days! ⏱️

It’s not just domestic work we do — we also take on commercial projects of all sizes.

Been very busy over the past few weeks and here is one of the many jobs we have been on with 💪🏻

Big 15 bays of fencing done in brigg this customer reached out to us after being messed about and left to pick up the pieces from other tradesmen but after getting in contact with us we quickly squared things up and did what we do best 🫡 big thanks to Turners Building Supplies for supplying and delivery of A grade materials ✅ and also a big thanks to Guy’s Painting And Decorating Services and Precision Painting And Maintenance for the extra set of hands to allow us to smash this out in a a day and a half 💪🏻
