UPDATE: Everyone welcome at the Tavern & Galley (Formerly the Briardene) Whitley Bay after the crem to celebrate his life

It’s with heavy heart, that we have to inform you all, that our Owner, dear friend and colleague, John Bell, passed away peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, on Saturday 6th June. His funeral will be held on 19th June at 12 oclock at Whitley Bay Crematorium. We will confirm where to meet after to raise a glass to him when the venue gets back to us. Please wear bright colours where possible. Family flowers only, donations can be made to MacMillan, there will be a collection box in the Crematorium.
