Well, finally the first cut of the year amongst many others has taken place (on higher settings of course) but whilst waiting for that to happen I have been clearing spaces it and making plans in gardens for new areas and thinking about how to prove upon what was kept up to last season.
It was very dry and difficult to maintain a lot of areas especially with the drought conditions but things are far easier to deal with when they have been maintained.
It’s also a good time to get seeds in, hedging and late Summer flowering plants can soon be put into the ground ready for the coming months, together with veggies and freshly pruned fruit trees for optimum growth!
Onwards and upwards !
