I qualified and worked as a graphic designer before I decided to be a "stay at home mum". This is when I started playing around with slate (about 2001) and came up with a lot of today's designs. These were made for gifts for family and friends over many years. In 2012 I made the decision to sell the stock that had accumulated over those years, at a local craft event. I loved it so much I caught the bug for selling my wares.
