Happy Saturday Everyone! ✨
I thought I'd share with you the cards I pulled for myself for the day in 'quick fire' fashion, similarly to how the interpretations came to me. Sometimes this reading style works for me (quick, simple, not delving too deeply), other times a little more studying of the cards to find hidden messages and deeper meaning is required. If in the right frame of mind and vibrating at the right energy level though, this can be a great 'on the go' reading method.

Focus for the day, King of Pentacles - Manage the home, stock up
An action to take, Three of Cups - Party, have fun with others
Something to let go of, Nine of Swords - Your worries
Challenges that may present, Eight of Wands - Fast paced day, hard to keep up
What will help me, King of Wands - Rise to the challenge with confidence and excitement
Outcomes to expect, The Sun - Happy day
To put this into perspective, I started the day ruminating a little and falling into negative thinking patterns, so tried to be mindful and bring myself back into a safe, present place. My plan for the day is to go food shopping and run a couple of errands once baba wakes up from her nap, maybe harvest some nasturtiums from the garden for soup if I have time, and rustle up a rum punch for a family get together happening this evening.
I feel the cards align beautifully with my plans (this isn't always the case of course, but I wanted to share this as an example of when this happens!), a no nonsense painting of the day ahead, also a great example of when the cards portray for us what we already know! I'm sure there'll be some surprises today and I'm sure if I were to meditate on the cards further there would be clues as to what they might be, but alas! No time today! Must push on! 😉
