Firstly, THANK YOU EVERYONE for your concern.

I'm ok, but quite shaken up, but I'll be ok. For those of you who don't know what happened, | was robbed whilst at the petrol station this morning in SHEFFIELD
My money was gone. I called the police, they were fantastic and called for an ambulance as my blood pressure was through the roof.

The police asked me if I knew who did it, and I told them:

“Yes,it was pump number 7!”

🚨 Under 4 Weeks to Save Sheffield’s Green Belt 🚨
Sheffield City Council plans to release large areas of Green Belt across Chapeltown, Ecclesfield and Grenoside for housing and warehouses.
This will permanently change our lives and our communities.
The Government Inspectors are now consulting on the Main Modifications to the Sheffield Plan — the final stage before the Plan can be adopted.
If these Green Belt sites are approved it will set a dangerous precedent.
Once that door is opened, all of Sheffield’s Green Belt becomes vulnerable.
And once Green Belt is built on, it is gone forever.
Sheffield is known as one of the greenest cities in the UK. When our street trees were threatened, residents stood together through the Street Trees Action Group and fought to protect them.
Now we must do the same again to protect Sheffield’s Green Belt.
That is why we are launching a city-wide petition.
Every signature will be submitted to the Inspectors as part of the Sheffield Green Belt Alliance response to the consultation.
📢 How you can help
👉 Sign or download the petition here:

https://www.saveourgreenbelt.net/sheffieldpetition

✔ Sign the petition online via the link above

✔ Download a copy and collect signatures from friends, family and neighbours

✔ Share this post so others can support it

You do not have to live in S35 — this plan affects the whole city so get your family and friends involved.
Paper copies are also available at local locations including libraries and community venues, and completed forms can be returned there.
If you do not have access to a printer, you can collect a paper copy or sign the petition from Friday 20th March at:
• Chapeltown Library
• Ecclesfield Library
• Grenoside Community Centre

If you are unable to visit one of these locations, email us at [email protected] and we will arrange to get a copy to you.
Completed petition forms can be returned to the same locations.

This is the last formal opportunity for residents to influence the Inspectors before their final report.

⏳ We have four weeks. This consultation closes 5pm Monday 14 April.

Please sign, share and help us show how many people across Sheffield oppose unnecessary Green Belt loss.
Help us show the Inspectors and Sheffield City Council that Sheffield stands together to protect its Green Belt.
