Would you automatically go with the cheapest quote? 👀

When you're getting quotes for a new kitchen or bathroom, there's absolutely nothing wrong with comparing a few different companies.

But I'd be comparing a lot more than just the price at the bottom.

If one quote came back considerably cheaper than the others, personally I'd want to understand why.

What's actually included?
What's the specification?
What are their reviews like?
Have you looked at their previous work?
And most importantly — do you trust them?

You're potentially handing somebody the keys to your home and trusting them to rip an entire room apart and put it all back together again.

So compare the quotes, definitely.

But compare the companies as well.

One customer… three rooms to transform 👀

We've started a new project this week, beginning with the main bathroom and downstairs WC.

Both are now stripped back and we're getting everything ready to start putting them back together.

But this one's a little different…

In around a month's time, we'll be back at the same property to start their new kitchen too.

An underused part of the home was redesigned into a practical utility room, boot room and downstairs WC, while the dining area gained a bespoke contemporary media wall.

Remember this one? 👀

We shared the before photos and designs for this bathroom a few weeks back… and now it’s nearly there!

The old bath has gone and in its place we’ve created a much more open walk-in shower, with green tiles, fluted glass, oak-effect furniture and a new towel radiator.

The flooring is now down too, and the team are back getting those last bits finished off, including the decorating.

Always good seeing the original designs actually come to life 🙌

Genuine question — how long would you wait for the right company? 👇

We've generally been working around an 8–12 week lead time, but with another four bathrooms signed recently, we're now having to think seriously about what happens as that diary gets busier.

Do we increase capacity and bring more installation teams on?

Or grow steadily, protect the quality and service we're known for, and accept that our lead time could move towards 12–16 weeks?

For me, maintaining the standard of our work and the customer experience has to come first.

But I'm interested in this from a customer's point of view...

If you'd found a kitchen or bathroom company you really wanted to use, trusted them and liked their work, how long would you realistically wait?

8 weeks?
12 weeks?
16 weeks?
Would 20 weeks be too much?
