SITE VISIT | ANGLESEY

Yesterday, Jonathan made the trip across to the beautiful island of Anglesey to visit one of our projects currently on site.

The scheme is progressing tremendously, with the scaffolding now starting to come down and the focus shifting towards the interior spaces. The kitchen has arrived and is ready to be fitted next — always an exciting milestone as the project really starts to feel like a home.

A huge thank you to the fantastic team on site for all their hard work and attention to detail. We’re looking forward to sharing more soon.

SITE VISIT | SHEFFIELD

Site visits are an important part of the process, especially when ideas begin turning into real spaces.

Alicia recently took Rachel and Ayona to site to meet the builder and walk through the scheme together, discussing progress, details and how the project is coming together beyond the drawings.

This side and rear extension to a bungalow is designed to unlock the house and make it work far better for contemporary family life, creating more light, better flow and more generous spaces for day-to-day living.

It is always exciting to see a project move from design into construction.

ON-SITE NOW: A MAJOR HOME RENOVATION/EXTENSION

A woodland home reimagined.

These latest CGI + AI illustrations show our proposed transformation of The Lodge, Worksop — a substantial remodelling and extension designed to bring more light, openness and connection to its landscape.

What began as a darker, inward-looking property is being reshaped into a warm contemporary family home with generous glazing, stronger connections to the garden and more open, flowing living spaces.

The visuals have been created using our evolving CGI/AI workflow to help communicate atmosphere, materials, light and feeling much earlier in the design process.

But this isn’t a concept project or speculative AI fantasy.

This is a real scheme.
For a real client.
On a real site.
With real planning, budget and construction considerations behind it.

We’re increasingly finding that AI becomes most powerful when paired with genuine architectural thinking, technical knowledge and a deliverable design.

The project is real and on-site now.
The technology simply helps bring it into focus.

Real projects. Real clients. Real sites. Real budgets.

This series of stills has been created from our latest CGI and AI workflow, helping visualise one of our current residential projects.

We don’t use AI to generate fantasy concepts or speculative architecture. Every scheme we share has been designed for a real client, on a real site, with genuine planning, budget and construction constraints behind it.

For us, AI is simply another design tool — helping communicate atmosphere, materials, light and spatial quality far earlier in the process.

The project is real.
The design is real.
The technology helps bring it into focus.

A glimpse into how we’re using the latest CGI and AI tools to help bring our designs to life.

For us, this technology isn’t about creating imaginary concept homes or speculative visuals. It’s about helping our clients understand their own project more clearly.

Real projects.
Real clients.
Real sites.
Real budgets.

Every scheme we illustrate has been designed in response to a specific brief, a defined site, planning considerations, construction budgets and the individual needs of the people who will live there.

AI is simply becoming another tool in the design process — helping us test ideas, explore materials, communicate atmosphere and give a clearer sense of how a future home could look and feel.

The design work is real.
The technology helps people see it sooner.

THE AVENUE | BUNGALOW CONVERSION

A bungalow reimagined as a contemporary two-storey family home.

The Avenue in Wakefield transforms an existing single-storey property into a calm, modern home designed for everyday family life.

The approved scheme introduces simple pitched forms, generous glazing and a restrained palette of natural materials, creating a house that feels contemporary without being showy. Inside, the layout has been carefully reordered to bring in more light, improve the flow of the home and create stronger connections to the garden.

Planning permission has been secured.

This animation has been created using our latest CGI/AI workflow. We use this technology to illustrate our designs clearly and help our clients make informed decisions throughout the process, from understanding the form and proportions of their home to exploring materials, finishes and the relationship with the surrounding landscape.

We don’t illustrate speculative concept schemes. These are real projects, for real clients, with real sites and real budgets.

Here’s an updated post for The Avenue.

The previous post opened with a video, and looking at the stats, not everyone swiped through to see the still images. So we’ve swapped the order around this time.

If you haven’t had a look yet, swipe through to see the new visuals.

The Avenue | Wakefield

From bungalow to contemporary family home.

This planning-approved project reimagines an existing bungalow as a modern two-storey home, carefully extended and reordered to better support everyday family life.

The design introduces simple pitched forms, generous glazing and a restrained palette of natural materials, creating a home that feels calm, timeless and connected to its mature garden setting.

Inside, the layout will be transformed with light-filled living spaces, improved circulation and a much stronger relationship between the house and garden.

Modern, but not showy — the architecture allows the proportions, materials and landscape to do the work.

These recently created images were produced to help illustrate the scheme in more detail. We’re continuing to develop and refine our CGI/AI workflow within the practice, using it as a valuable design tool to test ideas, explore materials and help clients make more confident decisions about finishes before their home is built.

The Avenue | Wakefield

More space. More light. Better flow.

This project is all about reworking how the home lives: opening up key spaces and strengthening that all-important connection to the garden.

Visualised using CGI + AI to help our clients properly experience the design before it’s built.

Real project. Real site. Real clients.

THE STABLES | DERBYSHIRE

A design shaped by its setting, drawing on the language of agricultural buildings to create a contemporary home within the Green Belt.

Created using our latest CGI/AI workflow, this film explores the design in motion. The imagery is illustrative, but the project is real — developed for a specific site, with genuine constraints and a clearly defined brief.

THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to visit us at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show this weekend.

It was a genuinely busy few days, and great to have so many conversations with people at different stages of their projects — from early ideas through to those ready to get started.

We always enjoy these events. Not just for the enquiries, but for the chance to listen, share advice, and better understand what people are looking for in their homes.

If you didn’t get a chance to speak to us (or have had a few more thoughts since), feel free to get in touch — we’d be happy to continue the conversation.

Finally - a big thank you to the Homebuilding and Renovating show team and the staff from the magazine, it was great to see you all. Thanks for you hard work and support
