Throwback Thursday to a job I worked on in September 2021, and I have to say one of the best jobs I’ve ever worked on. Just me and the property owner on the tools to turn this old barn into a bar and party space for a big birthday bash. The stone walls framed out and then clad in mdf to look like panelling. All painted with Farrow & Ball paints.

What a transformation…loved it!

First job of 2026 completed ✅ 11 stories up getting fantastic views of Sheffield. Ceilings painted, walls cross lined and a lovely German manufactured paper dropped over it. Other walls painted with accentuating colour and skirtings eggshell finished in white to complete the look.

This job was booked in months ago to coincide with the client going away. Expensive wallpapers can get the nerves twitching a bit at times, as one wrong cut costs money. This job went really well, and I think it looks amazing, especially when the sun shines 👌

Loved this job and such lovely people to work for!

A really interesting property in Bamford. In a previous life it was the vicarage at Ashopton before the dams were built and the valleys and village flooded. Subsequently moved stone by stone and re-built by the then water board in Bamford.

Thorough prep and painting of soffits and fascias with Brouns Linseed Oil Paint - my favourite exterior paint.

No need for lifting weights when carting those ladders about that’s for sure!

My summer job! keeping me fit up and down that scaffold all day. Great views of Sheffield on the tea break though. This is going to be another Brouns & Co linseed paint job. Client loves their paint as do i 👍
