Just some friendly advice...

When it's raining like today, it is a good time to go into your loft and check your roof for any leaks.

The most common leaks we come across are chimney breasts and gable ends... like the pics.
Also check along the roof ridge and rafters. If your roof doesn't have any felt thus it's slate or rosemary tile... check for any cracked tiles because that's where the water will come in.

🎶 The things we do for ❤️ 🎶

Loft hatch relocation due to inaccessible location.
Once moved we'll also be laying a raised floor, installing a light and ladder thus giving the 🏡 owner full use.

And in 3, 2, 1... they had access to their loft 👌

In this house the original loft hatch had been plasterboarded over thus no access 😱

Not a problem to us 👊

We call this going in blind 🙈

Initially we cut an inspection size of the ceiling to see if we can fit a new loft hatch. Once this is done and clarified there are no obstructions, we then open it up to the required size. 🔨

As you can see from the picture 📸 we installed a draft proof UPVC Hatch (no painting required!) and also an aluminium loft ladder 🪜

🎶 WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES 🎶

This family decided to make use of this huge storage space. They can now safely access their loft and store their goods 👌

🎯 We only use P5 grade moisture resistant flooring (construction grade)... not the diy loft boards 🙈
We also installed a 3 section aluminium ladder with handrail and a couple of mains connected pendant light fittings 💡
