I’m genuinely proud of that.

And when it comes to windows and doors, Danny doesn’t hesitate: 👊

Turn up when you say you will.
Do a great job.
Do it properly.

It sounds simple — but anyone who’s worked in the trades knows just how valuable that is.

We’re very particular about the people we bring onto a DIAD project, because when their work goes into one of our builds, our name is on it too.

When Lee said the traffic was bad, we didn’t realise he’d decided to come to work by river. 😂

Didn’t quite go to plan…

But then again, when does anything involving Lee go completely to plan?

Monday morning update 🫡

🏗️ BIG PROGRESS ON THIS ONE! 🏗️

Another busy day ahead, but this project is really starting to come together now. 👌

Kitchen nearly completed/flooring down, plastering completed and plenty of finishing work underway — while outside we’re still pushing on with the groundwork and external areas.

This is the part of a build I love, when all the individual jobs start coming together and you can finally see the finished project taking shape.

There’s still plenty to do, but what a transformation already. 🔥

At DIAD, we don’t just turn up, build a box and disappear. We take care of the whole project and pay attention to the details that make the finished job something we’re proud to put our name to.

On the way to meet the kitchen fitters at the monster job in and the truck decides to have a day/week off 🙈

Saturday shift and we are back at our Ickleford project today, jobs today - exterior walls boarded with 11mm OSB and then wrapped in a premium breather membrane, roof boarded in 18mm OSB and the EPDM rubber roof glued in place.
This will then be ready for first fix electrics from the best in the business George Claridge electrical, more updates next week, have a great weekend all

Mountain Sage was absolutely the right choice for this one. 👌

The Hardie® Plank cladding is now going onto the Monster Build in Hitchin and completely changing the exterior.

It’s one of those details that takes a garden room from looking like an outbuilding to feeling like a properly considered extension of the home.

And on a build this size, the finish matters.
