A leak beneath a kitchen sink in Greenford on this call out was not due to a loose fitting or corroded valve upon investigation of the pipework we identified the source of the dripping water was actually due to the sink being punctured with a sharp object. Unfortunately for the landlord of this residential property the previous tenant had not reported the issue and had continued to use the sink resulting in the base unit becoming rotten and also in need of replacement.

There are a number of possible faults within heating systems that could be at play to cause the disruption of hot water supply to your kitchen or bathroom within our homes but an experienced heating engineer will be able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue. A burst water feed pipe located within a wall behind an electrical consumer unit posed a fire hazard at a block of flats in Yeading which led the utilities company to urgently shut off the power supply to the whole block and prompted the management company to call us in for an emergency investigation and repair. Attending the property swiftly in order to assist our client we identified the cause of the leak and shut off the mains supply. The cause of the problem was a poorly installed connection for a newly installed boiler water feed pipe within the properties kitchen / external wall. After breaking out a section of the wall were able to expose the pipe and replace it so the mains water and power supply could be turned back on for all of the properties.

Old copper waste water pipes will at some point require replacing. Due to corrosion this particular material of pipework is prone to leaks which was the cause for damp and pooling water within a bathroom at a residential property in Chiswick, West London. Our leaking plumbing investigation led us to beneath the bath tub where the source of the escaping water was identified. The old pipe and bath trap was quickly replaced to solve this plumbing issue.

Escape of water damage to properties is an ever-increasing problem for landlords and homeowners with insurance claims for such occurrences rising year on year. A vigilant tenant at a rented apartment in Northolt West London was quick to notice a leak coming through the ceiling and called us in to investigate. Upon our arrival the water supply was isolated and the ceiling space was accessed to reveal the cause of the escaping water which was a slow drip of fresh water emanating from a faulty gate valve. A quick and inexpensive replacement valve installation was carried out to resolve the issue.
