Let’s settle it once and for all: the best time to water your lawn is early in the morning, ideally between 4 AM and 10 AM.

Here’s why morning wins:

✅ Morning Watering (Best Option)
Cooler temperatures and less wind mean less evaporation.

Grass has time to dry out during the day, reducing the risk of fungal diseases.

Plants absorb water more efficiently when it’s cooler.

🚫 Evening Watering (Not Ideal)
Leaves and soil stay wet overnight, which creates a perfect environment for fungus, mold, and lawn diseases.

Cooler temps without sun mean slower absorption and evaporation.

🚫 Midday Watering (Worst Time)
High evaporation rates due to sun and heat = wasted water.

Can even stress the lawn, especially on very hot days.
