This Project has been running in the background for a couple of months now... My lovely customers asked me to come up with a plan to invigorate this very large and empty bed.
So after lots of planning, stump grinding, trellis putting upping, bed prepping, plant ordering. I finally got to plant this rose bed yesterday!
I have planted 3 trachelospermums at the back for lovely smelly ever green beauty, 18 David Austin roses (mostly extra smelly ones!) and a Hidcote lavender hedge border. All with the aim of layers of smell coming together and a mix of pink, purple and white.
It has turned out beautifully, I can't wait to see it mature and become even more beautiful! 😍 🌹🌼🐻

I was so proud of this little job! Looked so lovely once planted I'm not sure the photos do it justice! 3 tonne bags of top soil shifted to fill out the bed, plants bought and put in, and I moved a bay because I just felt it belonged with the herbs! A salvia hot lips is going into that space on the end to add even more lovely smells! 🌼🐻🌱
