🌿 From Overgrown & Open to Sleek, Secure, & Private! 🌿
​An open side entry can easily compromise your home's privacy and security. For this transformation, we took a weathered, mossy slatted gate and pergola archway that had been completely overtaken by climbing vines, and turned it into a secure, modern boundary.
​We cleared back the heavy overgrowth and installed a heavy-duty, pressure-treated vertical closeboard (feather-edge) fence and a fully integrated matching side gate, complete with premium weather capping.
​The Transformation:
​Complete Privacy: Replacing the wide gaps of the old palisade gate with tight, overlapping closeboard timber completely blocks out any line of sight into the rear garden.
​Streamlined Security: The new layout features a robust, sturdy frame with clean hardware, creating a highly dependable first line of defense for the property.
​Clean & Tidy Border: We carefully cut back the tangled climbing plants to open up the entrance area while preserving the beautiful, mature vine trunk along the stone wall.
​Built to Weather the Elements: Finished with a protective top capping rail, this setup forces rainwater to shed efficiently, preventing rot and ensuring long-lasting durability.
