Rone Design were pleased to be involved in this project, acting as Principal Designer (Building Regulations), supporting the team in ensuring compliance and building safety requirements were met throughout the design process.

Behind the scenes at Rone Design 👷‍♀️📐

Not every part of a project makes it onto site photos, but it’s all crucial to delivering a successful build. From preparing detailed drawings and documentation, to coordinating with project teams, our work behind the scenes ensures every project runs smoothly, safely, and in line with compliance requirements.

It’s this careful planning and attention to detail that helps Rone Design deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Behind the scenes at our Bradford project 👷‍♂️🏗️

Not every project is visually striking, but some of the most important work happens behind the scenes.

We’re currently supporting a project at Cashmere Works, Bradford for Haworth Scouring Company Ltd, which will see the demolition of an existing industrial building and the construction of an anaerobic digestion facility. The development includes the installation of nine tanks, a gas holder and a new CHP unit designed to biologically process organic residues from the wool scouring process.

Once operational, the new biogas CHP will generate up to 550 kW/hr of green electricity ⚡, helping to reduce reliance on natural gas and lowering overall emissions from the site. The project also supports wider sustainability measures already in place, including the transition to an all-electric truck fleet 🚛🔋 and a significant reduction in waste transport from the facility.

For this scheme, Rone Design has acted as Project Managers, CDM Consultants and Architectural Consultants, supporting the delivery of a project focused on improving environmental performance and long-term sustainability 🌱.

When complete later this year, the new system will play an important role in helping Haworth Scouring continue its strategy of reducing emissions, transport movements and waste streams from the scouring process.

Completion expected May 2026.

Great read for anyone thinking about building in 2026 👀

Exciting progress at the Gordon Mills development in Guiseley! 🏗️

Rone Design has been proud to support Rhydding Gate Properties Ltd on this project, acting as Architectural Consultants and Principal Designers for CDM purposes.

The first of eight new office units has now been completed, with just two units still available to let (85m² and 62m²).

It’s been fantastic to see the transformation taking shape — great work by everyone involved! 👏
