Another room refurbishment for existing customer (4th year).

Overboard and level out old ceiling (25-30mm differences in parts).
Build out with backing plaster.
Batten and plasterboard around new window.
Skim ceiling and walls
Mist coat walls and ceiling then top coat with brilliant white contract. 2 walls with Dulux easy care (green).
Sand and prep door frame. Prime and paints dulux satinwood.

Also built cupboard to house boiler.

Booked in for next year for box room/office refurb.

Recent kitchen refurb done for returning customer 🙂

Remove side window and remove door.
Cut out wall to relocate door.
Brick and block up old door and window sides.
Replaster full room, mix of float and set and overskim, including patching of ceiling after electrician, including opposite side of kitchen wall.
Extending length of wall with stud work and plasterboard to allow for tall units.
Mist coat of walls and fresh paint on ceiling.
Fitting of kitchen base, wall and extra tall units (worktop work completed by external company).

Little job done other day.
Reskim a wall that had some very noticeable ripples in it.
Sand down some areas and refill to bring level with existing wall.

Recent bit of work done.

Old lathe and plaster ceiling, cracked and damaged, needed overboarding.
Fixed timbers to existing joists to allow new plasterboard to be attached.
Skimmed with multifinish plaster
Coving fitted.
Loft hatch was uneven and needed adjusting. New trim around loft hatch.
Cupboard built to house boiler and shelving installed as customer to use as home office.
Painted ceiling, loft hatch, coving and cupboard.

Another recent bit of work for a repeat customer.
His newborns bedroom refurbishment.

Remove loft type opening in ceiling, using plasterboard, Overskim walls and ceiling.
Tidy up bay window window cill, create template for new MDF top to make neater.
Fill, sand and undercoat/prime window area as well as door casings. Mist coat walls and ceiling and then top with Brilliant White and Dulux Overtly Olive for opposing walls.

Already booked for work next year for another bedroom and office 👍🏻

Recent job completed for Handy Dan Essex

Asked to come in and correct some work done by another tradesman.

Wall was all over the place and also suffered with poor ventilation, so decided to batten and board to get it all plumb and level across the wall then skim with Gypsum multi finish.
