Thanks to the Shropshire Magazine and to Liz and James Handley for their help with this article in the November edition of the magazine, which is out now.

We built the Handley’s house on the river in Shrewsbury in 2017. It’s a stunning self-build property.

It’s one our favourite projects to date, and as you can see from the article, it was a really happy working relationship and we are still friends!

We loved working on this project and want to do lots more like it in the future.

We haven’t posted for a while. But we’ve still been really busy! Working to get schools ready for sept, a very large scale renovation project of a historic building and a set of barn conversions to name just a few....

But we wanted to share these new images of a complete house build we completed in Shrewsbury last year..still one of our favourite projects to date.

It started with a SIPS (timber frame) construction designed and erected by Point1 Building Systems Ltd - a very fast way of creating a structure.

The owners of this house, a fantastic couple, used solar panels and the cladding is made of 80% recycled material.

This home features an open plan kitchen/living/dining area at it's centre, with separate cinema room, utility, study and groundfloor bathroom.

Stairs made by Shrewsbury Joinery and spindles by Shropshire Stainless & Aluminium Ltd (and fitted by us) - bespoke stair shelves made by our very own Jon Eddies!

Upstairs are three bedrooms, all individual with unique, ensuite bathrooms. The master also has a dressing area and full height bay window to maximise the garden views.

The house was designed by AHR Architects and Building Consultants who also created these stunning photos of the project.

With a best mate as a former bomb disposal expert having completed 5 tours, and a nephew in the Paras, we are feeling especially grateful today for all our current servicemen and women and all those who have fallen in the past, and of course all their families.

In addition, the clients wanted a bespoke garage incorporating a workshop to house their motorhome and other vehicles. They think it's the best garage in Shropshire!

Morning all! We swung by the new Evolution Beer Company yesterday to try a few ales!

We’ve been working at the new brewery in battlefield over the last few weeks fitting the incredible bar, hanging doors and other carpentry work.

The Tap Room and lovely terrace opened on Friday for the BH and it’s open from 12 til late today too as part of the opening weekend!

They even have Amber's Wood Fired Kitchen making pizzas!

Dogs, children and everyone are welcome! 🐶👨‍👦☀️👌🏻🍻

We updated the website today with some professional photos we had taken of one of favourite projects to date!

It's a SIPs self-build, self-designed project on the banks of the River Severn.
