Flameguard Fire & Security are looking for a new Administrative Assistant to join our family-run business.

We are looking for someone organised, reliable, and confident communicating with clients, engineers, and office staff both over the phone and via email.

💼 Main duties will include:
• Booking works and appointments for engineers
• Liaising with engineers, office staff, and clients
• Handling telephone calls and emails
• General office administration and organisation
• Updating records and internal systems

✅ The ideal candidate should have:
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional and friendly attitude

Preferable working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm but we are flexible. Please enquire for more details✅

Previous administration experience is preferred but not essential for the right person.

Flameguard Fire and Security Ltd is an established and expanding fire and security company based in Sible Hedingham, North Essex. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team.

🔥 The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to carry out servicing, installation, and commissioning of fire alarm and security systems across a variety of premises.
The role focuses primarily on the servicing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, ensuring full compliance with industry standards while delivering a high-quality and reliable service to our customers.

🔥 Key Responsibilities
Carry out service inspections, maintenance, and remedial repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems in line with company procedures and industry standards
Diagnose faults, resolve issues efficiently, and report any system deviations
Ensure all systems are compliant, operational, and performing to required standards
Complete accurate documentation including reports, timesheets, and site paperwork
Use laptops and system software to support service delivery
Maintain excellent customer relationships and deliver a high standard of service
Promote and adhere to a strong health and safety culture

🔥 Requirements
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in fire alarm servicing and installations
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and use own initiative
Good communication and customer service skills

🔥 Desirable (but not essential)
Experience with security systems (training can be provided)
Emergency lighting experience (training can be provided)
Ability to service fire extinguishers (training can be provided)
