Good morning everyone

Our diary is getting very full again, and we are now booking at least a week in advance. Please keep this in mind when arranging your gas testing.

Parks are now sending reminders out a minimum of a month in advance and many customers are booking as soon as they receive them which means our availability fills up quickly.

If you’d like to book with us, you’re more than welcome to book as far in advance as you like to secure your preferred date (this can be altered if needed nearer the time).

We’ve also had a few issues recently with:
• Renters not being informed about gas tests
• No gas being available at caravans at the time of testing

Unfortunately, when this happens, we have to reschedule and this can sometimes mean another week before we can return.

To cover lost time, a £20 surcharge will be added if we attend and are unable to complete the test due to these reasons.

❄️ Caravan Antifreeze – Important Information

It is not a nice conversation for either of us, but it is a necessary one.
I hate telling people because the cost is from £100 upwards but a new boiler if it isn’t done is substantially more.

Antifreeze is essential to protect your caravan’s central heating system during winter. Temperatures can drop as low as -10°C or more and without the correct antifreeze protection, your system is at serious risk of freezing, splitting pipes, and major damage.

✔️ Yes, antifreeze is expensive
✔️ No, we are not ripping you off
✔️ Yes, you genuinely do need it

The good news:
Antifreeze does NOT need topping up every year. When the system is healthy and sealed properly, it should last between 3–5 years or even longer.

However, please remember:
👉 Every time you top up your system pressure, you dilute and lose antifreeze.
So if your pressure keeps dropping, it will reduce the lifespan of the antifreeze.

If the system isn’t protected properly and it freezes, the repair costs will be far higher than the cost of antifreeze.

We don’t enjoy delivering this message, we don’t enjoy doing this job, we avail it as much as we can but it’s about protecting your system and saving you money long-term.

Hello, so it appears that I have had an issue with my phone line again!! Apart from the rubbish signal and calls not coming through or not being able to make them! Vodafone have altered some settings that’s affected my voicemail, so anyone who has left me a voicemail in the last few weeks on the landline I haven’t had it and won’t be getting it! All should be sorted after I spent 2 hours on the phone this morning. It’s like knocking on wood communicating with people that don’t understand what you are telling them. ☹️😔

Full central heating installation completed recently, as always thank you for the people who continue to support us and recommend us, it is very much appreciated.
Thank you to the other trades we work alongside to help us do our job and massive thank you to the trades who book in the plumbing jobs because without them we would be stuck.

Changeover valve installation completed recently. If you are renting your caravan out and would like to never run out of gas or just never want to run out of gas yourself, these are ideal (if used correctly)

Ok guys some parks are not putting certificates into the system until caravans have smoke alarms, carbon, alarms, fire extinguishers and fire blankets!

We can’t circle you have these items if you don’t have them, so please can you ensure you have these VALID IN DATE ITEMS in the caravan!!

This affects all owners not just rental vans!
