Night-time is often when we have the chance to truly enjoy our outdoor living spaces.

Customers ask us to design gardens all the time, but when we’re given complete creative freedom and trusted to truly bring a space to life, this is what we can create.

This garden has been carefully designed to include multiple spaces, each with its own purpose and atmosphere:

• Pergola with a fire pit• Al fresco dining area• Sunbathing space• Hot tub area• Water feature

Planting has played a huge part in this project and is the true focal point of the garden. We worked around the existing trees while introducing feature planting to add structure, texture, and year-round interest.

The lighting scheme was also thoughtfully designed, with bespoke mitred downstands created by Fabrications to discreetly house our LED lighting and enhance the space after dark.

Our aim is always to design gardens that improve the way people live — creating beautiful outdoor spaces our clients can enjoy and be proud of for years to come.

We’re halfway through our current project over in Upholland.

It hasn’t all been plain sailing — access has been tricky, the ground conditions haven’t been great, and the weather hasn’t exactly helped either. That said, we’re hopefully through the worst of it now and heading into the home straight.

This one’s a really well-designed garden with plenty of great features, so we’re excited to see it all come together.

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for the finished results 👀

Designing with the customer’s requirements at the heart of the project, while creating something truly beautiful and detailed.

A large project completed, and it’s been a pleasure to be part of it from start to finish. From bespoke steel planters and custom steel gates to the aluminium pergola from Cheshire Plants, every element was carefully considered.

With pleached trees, ornamental grasses, and layered planting throughout, this garden truly has it all.

At IR Landscape and Design we design and create gardens bespoke and practical for each customer.
