Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Garden Operative to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of gardens, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will help ensure grounds are kept tidy, healthy, and visually appealing while working safely and efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
* Mow lawns, trim hedges, and maintain flower beds and borders
* Plant, water, w**d, and prune shrubs, plants, and trees
* Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely
* Apply fertilisers, mulch, and other treatments when required
* Remove garden waste and keep work areas clean and tidy
* Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and planting schemes
* Identify and report plant diseases, pests, or safety hazards
* Maintain pathways, fencing, and outdoor features where necessary
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
* Provide excellent customer service when working on client sites

Skills & Experience
Essential
* Basic knowledge of gardening and grounds maintenance
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Good physical fitness and stamina
* Ability to use gardening equipment safely
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence (is required)
Desirable
* Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture
* PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
* Horticultural qualification or relevant training
* Experience using ride-on mowers or powered equipment

Working Hours
Monday- Friday with overtime and weekend work available
Pay £13.50+ per hour
