Have had a very busy few weeks preparing for and building my show garden at Sandringham Flower Show. The garden was my interpretation of Dementia. It obviously touched alot of hearts (sadly) as it won The People's Choice Award and received a Gold...an exhausted, but happy bunny now, as l feel l achieved the garden l wanted to make.

I am noticing far fewer bees this year...it is very disturbing...have you noticed this too...do let me know.

I stood for a long time observing this plant display of Salvias at my local nursery. Salvia Caradonna was covered in bees, whilst the bigger, bluer flowers of Salvia "Blue Marvel" attracted none...chose your plants carefully for our fluffy, buzzing friends.

I learned today (from ) that lvy leaved toadflax stems start to lean in towards crevices as the seed ripens, so they can find a welcoming place to grow.....aren't plants amazing....l love these dainty little wildies, that happily spread around on old walls, with no intervention from me...l know some people consider them weeds and yank them out.....please let them be...they are charming
