A busy time again for Growing Garden only two weeks ago this beautiful garden in Stow-cum-Quy is in its first stages of becoming once more a manageable garden. One to sit in & enjoy this lovely spell of nice weather. Let’s hope it continues!
Growing Garden returns every other week around my customers wishes lots more pruning of hedges & shrubs to continue.

Hot, hot, hot! Growing Garden started the week with this great tidy up job in Bottisham. Our customer had been a little light with their pruning so we took this job on .. and what a fantastic improvement, hopefully now making tidying and future pruning a lot easier, regardless of the temperature! ‘It was just like it was when I moved in 10yrs ago’ 😎🪴

Beautiful, beautiful weather conditions this week I think we’d all agree 😎
My lovely customer on Hall Lane continues to add design simplicity by adding large cobbles to her front driveway. Growing Garden straighten the vertical concrete slabs by the side of the path & dug out a considerable amount of soil & ingrown w**ds replacing with a w**d membrane & Meadow View Scottish 50-75mm cobbles. They actually are sold as aquatic coloured stones and so will only get better with age after water & UV light does it’s thing. Good job, another happy customer! 😎🪴

What a great week for Growing Garden, a mixture of warm weather & nights rain here in Burwell & surrounding villages.
Growing Garden are extremely pleased to have on our books Eden View nursing home in Bottisham, Cambridge and I think you’ll agree we made a good first impression?! We look forward to seeing flourishing gardens for residents & visitors. Thank you Jon & Judy for making both myself & Barry so welcome.

Of all the days last week Growing Garden picked the wet one in Ashley, Newmarket continuing bringing the overgrown back into control! Undulating ground will be topped making it a more manageable garden space for a young family to enjoy. This was only one day for two people to clear.

Hasn’t our beautiful warmer consistent weather been a pleasure to be outside in?! This week Growing Garden has been very busy doing great gardening- preparing a lovely period cottage’s garden in Cavernham ready for house sale by Pocock & Shaw.
Big effort needed to start clearing the part 1 of a large garden in Ashley, Newmarket. Making the garden section much more manageable by the owners.
Grass mowing galore as beautiful green grass comes into its own!
No job too small, it makes a outdoor space just feel loved when the grass is mowed.

Another productive & rewarding day today for Growing Garden, our brief was to tidy the garden & front of a property in Swaffham Bullbeck by my client. I think you’ll agree we made a huge improvement allowing the new owners to add their personal touch.
The cuttings alone filled nearly 4 cubic tonne bags, which we removed off site and took to Amey Waste Services, Waterbeach.

Another busy day for Growing Garden today firstly staying local in Burwell making good two fence panels with a broken fence post between teo patio slabbed gardens. Unfortunately simply replacing the rotten post wasn't an option.

This afternoon we laid new turfs on a beautiful garden in Cambridge following the old lawn taking a serious hit with lack of nutrients & no watering. Those whom have seen previous posts may recognise this lawn as I did similar not so long back!

We'll sleep well tonight!

Work in progress at the rear of Hythe Close this afternoon rebuilding the steps & retaining the sleepers behind Mike’s screen hedging backing onto Weirs Drove. Hopefully this’ll slow down the garden slipping into the waterway!
Growing Garden has many talents other than maintaining your garden and keeping things in order. Next we’ll be restoring the sinking mooring!
