It’s been a long winter. But something shifts in April, doesn’t it?

There’s a particular kind of energy that arrives with spring and I’m seeing it everywhere right now. People are ready. Ready to finally do something about the room that’s been quietly bothering them for months.

And I get it. If you’ve spent any time at home over Easter, really in your home, with your family, living in every corner of it, chances are a few things have made themselves known. The layout that doesn’t flow. The room that never feels quite right no matter what you put in it. The project that’s been on the list for three years.

That restless feeling? It’s a good sign. It means you know what you want. You just haven’t had the time or headspace to make it happen yet.

The grid has been quiet from me since February and honestly, before that it wasn’t exactly buzzing either. But I’ve been busy doing the actual work. Pottery Barn in London. Ripples bathrooms in Knowle. Exciting client projects.

So. Hello again. I’m Jennie. I design warm, considered homes for real families - spaces that work for children and dogs and Sunday mornings, not just photoshoots. Modern heritage, if you want a label. Timeless, if you don’t.

I’ve got a lot coming over the next few weeks. Glad to be back.

Tell me in the comments - what’s the one thing about your home that’s been niggling at you this winter? I’d love to know.
