I have the privilege of working with a Client to renovate their mature & beautiful garden. We uncovered this stunning large Magnolia which had been smothered by a large Clematis and was hiding behind a mass of overgrown shrubs. We removed the Clematis and thinned the other plants allowing both them and the Magnolia to breath. I'm very pleased with the result.

Here's a border update I have just completed for a Client. Its a difficult location, under tall trees and on a slope. I used woodland plants that thrive in partial shade - Viburnum, Ferns, Hellebores, Carex and Brunnera 'Jack Frost', which I blogged about this week. I'm pleased with the result and it now provides a structure to add more woodland plants, such as hardy cyclamen, in the future. I hope you like it.

I enjoyed updating a Client's garden yesterday. The border was overgrown with lots of creeping buttercup and the soil needed reinvigorating. I replanted it with Photinia, a beautiful shrub with new red leaves, and added white climbing roses which I will train on metal obelisks. I will keep you posted as it matures.
