💛We're constantly told that a beautiful home comes from the latest trend, a full room makeover or a basket full of new décor.

💭But the spaces that really stand the test of time? They’re usually built slowly.

The vintage chair you searched months for.
The paint colour you tested in every light.
The rug you waited to save for.
The inherited piece that didn’t match… until it did.

💫The best interiors aren’t rushed they’re collected, layered and lived in.

🍋So if your home feels unfinished, don't panic. You're not behind. You're creating something that reflects you, not just what's trending online.

💛 What's one piece in your home you'll never part with? Tell me in the comments.

Summer has a funny way of making us see our homes differently. ☀️

The brighter mornings, doors flung open and longer evenings suddenly highlight the little things we’ve stopped noticing.

But before you rush to replace everything, try this instead…

🌿 Move a chair to catch the morning light.
🌿 Bring in garden flowers or hedgerow cuttings.
🌿 Swap heavy textiles for linen and cotton.
🌿 Clear one surface completely and leave it empty.
🌿 Open the windows and let the house breathe.
🌿 Restyle with pieces you already own before buying anything new.

Good design isn’t always about spending more. Often it’s about seeing your home with fresh eyes.

I'd love to know….what’s the one thing that instantly makes your home feel like summer?

👇 Tell me in the comments. Is it fresh flowers, open windows, lighter colours, eating outside, or something else?

✨ May, in a nutshell ✨

Not every month is full of dramatic before-and-afters.

Sometimes it's slow progress, client presentations, hours of sourcing, paint samples scattered across every available surface, and quietly moving projects forward one decision at a time.

There have been plenty of behind the scenes moments too. The kind that rarely make it onto Instagram. Progress on our own home projects, endless lists, small wins, and those jobs that somehow take three times longer than expected.

In between it all, we escaped to Cornwall for a much needed break. A reminder that stepping away often gives you the clarity and inspiration you need to come back with fresh eyes.

May has been a month of laying foundations rather than crossing finish lines. And whilst that doesn't always make for the most exciting content, it's often where the real magic happens.

Here's to embracing the slower seasons, trusting the process, and remembering that beautiful spaces aren't created overnight.

What has your May looked like? all action, or slow and steady? 💭

A little spring interiors photo dump because the light lately has been too good not to document 💛

The funny thing about interiors is....
Sometimes its not the furniture or the paint colour that makes a space feel special.

Its the morning light.
The shadows.
The way a room feels at 7pm in May.

The slower moments are always the most inspiring.

If you love -
✔️Thoughtful interiors
✔️Timeless design
✔️Natural textures
✔️Homes with personality
✔️Realistic renovation content
..you're very welcome here

💛April, you've been a good one💛

A month of slower mornings, longer evenings, and the first real feeling of spring settling in.

A little of working from home, which I've quietly come to love.
More time to think, to plan, to properly consider design decisions rather than rushing them.

In between emails and samples....
There's been some progress at home too (hurrah!).
Not the glossy kind the real kind.
Half finished corners, paint samples on every surface, constant rethinking.

But honestly thats the part I enjoy most.
Living in the process. Letting things evolve.

And outside everything shifting again.
More green, more light, more inspiration without even trying.

A little reminder that good design, like nature, doesnt need to be rushed.

Here's to carrying that energy into May 🤍💛
