Decking transformation,

Can’t be more happy with how this one came out. The customer was open for ideas so we both said about turning the deck boards the opposite direction to what they were and using sandstone paving for the edge of the pond, although this made things a lot more complicated the finished result speaks for itself. Customers are very pleased as are we.

Bathroom renovation.

This one was a bit of a challenge as it is an older property which had the original lathe and plaster walls of which had become delaminated and wouldn’t have held the tiles, so these had to be rectified. There were lots of plumbing challenges along the way but we managed to overcome all of them and the result speaks for itself.

Driveway repair.

With this being on a slope the blocks had all moved downhill due to the edging/retaining blocks not being set in concrete and just relying on the grass edge to hold it in place. We pulled up and cleaned the blocks up to where the driveway had moved, then dug a sufficiant trench and set the edging blocks in concrete. The cleaned blocks were then relayed.

Very happy with driveway and it has given it a new lease of life.

We completed this patio last summer which was the first bit of the garden to be done and the customer was going to re turf the grass area after we had finished. This part of the garden is such a sun trap and will make a great socialising area. The slabs are smooth Indian sandstone and look stunning, with all the natural colours and patterns going through each individual slab.

Kitchen Transformation!

This was a complete floor to ceiling refit and what a difference. The original layout was probably 25-30 years old and was in desperate need of updating. Although it is a slim galley kitchen they have made the most of the space they had available. Originally there was a standard hinged door into the room which massively restricted access to that end of the room so we suggested a sliding pocket door. It does take up a small amount of the room to accommodate it but more than makes up for it when in use. This has made such a difference to the usability of the kitchen.

The customer and ourselves are very happy with the finished result.

Happy New Year!

First of all, we’d like to say a big “Thank You” to all of our customers.

Last year was quite a busy one! We haven’t managed to post all of the jobs that we have done on here, but many will be uploaded in the next few days, so keep an eye out. You may see something that you are wanting to have done this year.

We can do most jobs around the house from decorating or changing a tap, right up to a full bathroom/kitchen refit and landscaping including driveways and patios.

Another bathroom transformation!

This customer wanted to replace the bath with a large walk in shower and a vanity basin/toilet to give a cleaner and more contemporary look. All the wet areas were tanked before tiling, (which we do on all our bathroom refits) and all other area’s were prepped before decorating. All parties very happy with finished bathroom.

For this project we used Indian sandstone to create the patio. The original patio had no step from the bungalow so was getting harder for the customer to access the garden, so we made one across all doors to the garden which will make life much easier. Very happy with the finished result.
