Full House Transformation – Craiglockhart, Edinburgh

Our latest project involved stepping in to resolve a job that had been ongoing for over 3 years. While the property wasn’t in poor condition, it required a skilled finish and attention to detail to bring it up to a high standard.

We carried out a full power sand throughout the house using dust extraction systems, followed by careful filling and skimming where needed. All walls and ceilings were finished in Dulux Ultra Matt White, delivering a clean and modern look.

Every area was thoroughly caulked and prepped, and all woodwork was completed using Johnstone’s Aqua Satin for a durable, high-quality finish.

Kirkliston – Porch & Dormers Refresh ✨

We were back with a returning customer to repair and refresh their exterior woodwork – and what a transformation!

All woodwork was:
• Power sanded
• Caulked and filled using Toupret wood filler
• Finished with 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Quick Dry Opaque

Colour: RAL 7016 🎨

As you can see from the before & after, it’s a massive difference. The property is now fully protected and ready to take on the harsh winters (and the occasional Scottish sunshine ☀️).

Bo’ness – Living Room / Lower Hallway

Our new customer asked us to decorate one of the coolest rooms we’ve worked on lately — featuring a TV as big as the wall and stunning acoustic panelling on the ceiling 🤩

All surfaces were power sanded,
Wallrock lining paper was applied throughout, with all joints filled and sanded smooth, followed by two coats of Dulux Ultra Matt emulsion.

The woodwork was finished with three coats of Johnstone’s Aqua Satin for a clean, durable look.

To top it all off, we installed this amazing wall mural — a pleasure to hang and the final result looks absolutely flawless.

We recently returned to a property we painted around 6 years ago — and this time the customer really went all out!

There were areas of render that needed replaced, so Chris (our plastering & roughcasting specialist) got to work removing all the old render from the front of the building. A scratch coat was applied before fully roughcasting, followed by a 4-week drying period to make sure everything was spot on.

Once ready, the front was treated with a stabilising solution mixed with white masonry paint. All walls were then finished with two coats of Dulux Weathershield Masonry (Timeless) for a fresh, modern look.

The window sills were completed with two coats of Dulux Weathershield Masonry (Anthracite Grey) — a great contrast that really finishes it off 👌

Huge credit to Scott and Robert for delivering a top-quality job, and even better — a very happy customer who left us a brilliant review. That’s what it’s all about!

This project was for a friend who had been working hard on a renovation for over 2 years. With time running out, he asked us to step in and take care of the exterior — and we were happy to help bring it over the finish line.

✔️ Full property power washed
✔️ All windows, roofline, and downpipes carefully masked and taped
✔️ Exterior masonry coated in Dulux Weathershield White
✔️ All masking removed and full clean-up completed

The result speaks for itself — a huge transformation that’s completely refreshed the property and has it ready to hit the market.

This week we had the pleasure of helping a new customer start transforming their new house into a home 🏡

We were asked to paint:
• Two bedrooms
• One bathroom

🖌️ Ceilings – Dulux Ultra Matt
🖌️ Walls – Dulux Vinyl Matt Emulsion
🖌️ Woodwork – Johnstone’s Aqua Satin

The customer chose Goose Down and Just Walnut for the walls – a great combination that really brings the rooms to life.

The bathroom is my personal favourite, featuring a full colour drench across the walls and ceiling 👌

Bo’ness – Full Flat Transformation 🎨

This project was completed for our new customer Emma, who had just moved into her first flat. The property was in need of some care, with tired and worn paintwork throughout.

We carried out a full preparation, including sanding across all surfaces to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.

✔️ Ceilings: Painted using Dulux Ultra Matt Emulsion✔️ Walls: Finished with Dulux Vinyl Matt Emulsion in the colours • Cookie Dough • English Elm • Beach Walk✔️ Woodwork: Completed with Johnstone’s Aqua Satin

The final result completely transformed the space — the warm tones have created a cosy and welcoming feel throughout the flat.

We spent the day preparing and sanding all walls before applying two coats of Dulux Vinyl Matt (Natural Hessian) – completely transforming the space into something brighter and more welcoming.

Our latest project took us to South Queensferry, where a new customer wanted to turn their new-build house into a warm, personalised home with the addition of colour and a high-quality finish throughout.

🎨 What we did:
• Ceilings finished in Dulux Ultra Matt White for a clean, modern look
• Walls coated in Johnstone’s Covaplus in a range of colours across each space
