It’s taken a while, but I finally managed to get the ball rolling with my industry blog. Life has been a little crazy recently, but I’m so glad that I found some time to really invest myself in researching Transitional Housing for Homeless Recovery, I’ve truly been inspired!

I am in no way an expert on any of this (although I hope to be one day), but this is something I can look back on later, and also something that refuels my absolute love for the industry. So much change is possible if we look in the right places and respond accordingly!

Please give this a read and let me know of your thoughts!

In part of my efforts to better understand the relationship between Interior Architecture and Design and the social, environmental and economic issues across our globe, I have taken to exploring previous, current and potential areas of address. This section of my blog, 'A Designer's Digest', will be...

Hello everyone!

I have decided to combine my love for writing with my love for Interior Architecture and Design by starting a blog on my portfolio website! I will be discussing some really interesting topics as I research into previous, current and future design responses to a wide range of issues across the globe.

Currently I am working on an entry about transitional and supportive housing for the homeless, but if you’d like to catch up on my previous post, please click the link below!

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Best wishes & please stay safe x

Hello and a warm(er than this weather) welcome to my own little hub of insight and discussion on industry-related topics, trends and challenges. As a recent Graduate, I find myself climbing a 'wet-paint' wall of job searching which is proving to be a lot harder than I had anticipated. So to keep my....

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe during these crazy times.

Throughout the last couple of months, I have been redeveloping my online portfolio to ensure that it truly represents me and my work.

I’m so happy that I can now finally share this with you! Please click the link below to explore, and let me know your thoughts!

Thank you so much for all your support and I look forward to sharing my future projects with you!

*I used a website builder to make this portfolio so sometimes it isn’t perfect. If you are having issues, please try and zoom out or view the site in a desktop browser.*

"The client was very impressed with the level of detail in your 3D model, and I truly believe that without it, we wouldn’t have been able to convince them of our idea."

Now that I’ve caught up on some sleep after what has felt like the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life, I want to show you all some of the output for my Dissertation project.

Here are some key points to explain the pictures:
> Redevelopment of thr Royal Pier on Southampton’s waterfront.
> An innovation centre that provides mutual ground for SMEs and Solent University to collaborate.
> Based upon the concept of “connection”.

“Solent Waterfront Innovation Centre (SWIC) is today’s response to the needs of tomorrow, with a modern, sustainable and accessible design strategy, that supports and encourages innovation and collaboration within the academic and business sectors. SWIC embodies the act of connectivity through it’s interior architecture and design, creating a built environment that will majorly contribute to the success of the redevelopment of Southampton’s Royal Pier Waterfront quarter.”

FINAL YEAR PROJECT!

For my “dissertation project” I have been designing an innovation centre for Solent’s waterfront. As part of this I have created a bespoke bar which will be placed into the ground floor restaurant area!

This project has allowed me to use the skills I learned from last year’s design and technology unit, and I’m so pleased with how this has turned out!

Hopefully the render software will work so I can show it off in all it’s glamour!!

!!!! ANNOUNCEMENT !!!!

The moment I know you've all been waiting for - my online portfolio is officially LIVE!

GO GO GO and explore all things Inovasi Interior Architecture NOW.

*Third Year work has not yet been uploaded due to copyright and submission limitations - this will change once I have finished Uni. Please do still go and take a look, as I'm pretty proud of some of the stuff on there.*

Translating to the English meaning of 'innovation', Inovasi Interior Architecture represents uncompromising design; overcoming the challenges of legislation and desire, through a practical, sustainable and innovative approach.

⚠️ SUBMISSION ALERT ⚠️

My second unit of the year is officially complete!! 22,000 words and what feels like a law degree later, my report and question-answers on Professional Practice and Procedures have been submitted.

This is the biggest research project I’ve ever done, but the result is a breadth of knowledge on the roles of professionals, appointment of specialist duty holders, CDM Regulations and other legislation, payment, procurement and the tendering process (I’m sure I’ve missed something).

A very useful unit, but I’m glad to see it go. Now onto the more creative stuff...
