Mayfield Nurseries is a charitable social enterprise and a subsidiary of Solent Mind, the leading mental health charity in Hampshire. We support people with mental health issues and a range of people with different social care needs to gain work skills, improve motivation and to build confidence and self esteem through horticultural and retail work at the nursery. Mayfield is a working nursery and

it is vital to the service we raise income through the sale of plants and sundries at the nursery site and though offsite events. We work as a team to produce high quality stock for retail, the proceeds of which help sustain our valuable service. We are much more than a social care service, we are based in the community for the community and welcome different groups to visit and enjoy what our nursery has on offer. We are also present at many events through the year in addition to holding our own which anyone can enjoy.

Here’s what you can get involved in:

🥚 Easter Egg Hunt
Search for the egg cut-outs hidden around the garden centre, collect the letters and work out the secret word to win a prize and a 10% off voucher.

🎨 Easter Colouring Competition
Open to children and adults, pick up a sheet when you visit and get creative for the chance to win a prize and 10% off to spend at Mayfield.

Easter is coming to Mayfield Garden Centre! 🌼

We’ve got some free, family-friendly Easter activities happening at Mayfield Garden Centre from 30 March – 10 April, so why not plan a visit?

Here’s what’s happening:

Our café will also be open and serving a delicious range of hot and cold drinks, cakes, light bites and lunch options. Plus, you'll find further at-home Easter activites and spring gardening essentials in our shop.
