P.S if you get a dry day aslong as the grass is dry to the touch and it’s not wet underfoot give your lawn a trim with a sharp blade on a high setting this will keep your lawn in good shape before spring arrives. Try and keep to cutting no more than 1/3 of the leaf off in one go. 👍🏻🌱

👌🏻🌱💫Lawn disease & Renovation Before & After 💫🌱👌🏻
The main lawn suffered from some well developed Red Thread disease after heavy rainfall during the autumn. Treated in November with a mix of Fungicide to repair and protect the lawn mixed with some Iron and amino acids. Granular fertiliser applied to boost the low nutrients which was the main cause for the disease outbreak.

Far lawn was in a sorry state with excessive thatch which was suffocating the remaining grass. After the renovation steady progress has been made and is looking like a lawn again! 🌱👍🏻

🌱Lawn in need of help! ..🌱

This lawn was being maintained by another lawn care provider but things weren’t going in the right direction and I was asked if I could help.

First up was to deal the Fusarium disease which had already claimed some grass cover and was actively progressing. Fungicide aslong with some wetting agent and aminos made sure this didn’t progress any further.

When spring came round some scarifying, topdressing and overseeding was in order to help get the lawn back to its former glory.

Once the lawn was repaired the Gold maintenance plan has been in place to ensure the lawn stays healthy and keeps progressing.

12 months on and the lawn is in good condition and primed ready for spring. Happy lawn, happy customer!

Customer has been able to give a trim once or twice over the winter when it’s been dry and is looking great for it. 🙌🏻😍

Levels of the new lawn were consolidated and turf laid. Drainage of the lawn will be far superior over the winter period allowing a healthier rootzone and a healthier lawn.

Blue slate was used for the pathways leaving a super smart finish which compliments the colour of the summer house.

Lawns now maintained on Gold Plan to maintain the lawn year on year and are looking awesome🌱😍☀️

🌱Spring Lawn Construction Before🌱

Really enjoyed this one, heavy essex clay made the lawn really wet over the winter and the customer wanted more lawn in the garden.

The old lawn, a couple of small shrubs and the old gravel path were removed. Left a blank canvas to create a lovely lawn and a new gravel path to the summerhouse.

10 Tonnes of 50/50 rootzone was brought in, w**d membrane and Everedge was installed to create the lawn shape and paths for a super clean easy maintenance finish.

Lawn surveyed early in the year and they had lawn treatments from a large lawn care company for the previous 5 years 😮🤭😳

Unfortunately with 30mm of thatch smothering out the remaining grass and allowing w**ds and moss to invade it was time to fix the cause of the problem.

In this case returfing was the preferred option by the customer and they’re relieved to have there garden and lawn back to looking its best. 🌱👌🏻

An outside space to be enjoyed once again.

Gold maintenance plan is now in place with aeration and scarification as standard to keep the lawn strong and healthy! 👍🏻💪🏻

🌱🌦 Spring Scarify & Overseed Update 🌦🌱

This lawn is set in beautiful grounds of this old country house and hasn’t received any tlc for many years.

The lawn had some bald patches and the bank was mainly w**ds. Thatch in places was the cause for some of the lack of grass cover and needed attention.

A tractor mounted scarifier and dimple seeder was going to make efficient and clean work of the job in hand.

The lawn once scarified was overseeded and localised topdressing across the bank and any areas which were thin of grass cover to maximise successful germination. 🌱🌱
