Small job but many different steps required that’s never really seen 👀

Single glazed leaking roof window replaced for Velux window with trickle vent and pole, blacks soot of death 100+ year old ceiling 🤮, had client move out for 3 days to complete this, house just wouldn’t have been liveable while this was going on.


Old window cut/ripped out ✔️
Existing ceiling internally dropped ✔️
Larger opening created to accommodate larger window ✔️
Double timber trimmer installed to new opening ✔️
New window installed ✔️
New battens and breather membrane installed around the opening ✔️
Flashing kit installed ✔️
Roof patched in with new tiles ✔️ (full reroof was recommended due to the age of the current tiles but clients budget restraints wouldn’t allow)
Internally, bulkhead built to overcome twisted purlin ✔️
Insulation installed ✔️
Plasterboard and skim ceiling ready to receive decoration ✔️
5 hours of brushing, hoovering and wiping down as much as possible ✔️
Ready for the carpet to be replaced and decoration ✔️

Stunning little listed cottage re-rendering to rear elevation, full lime render system used for maximum breathability inline with heritage 👌

Topped in VPI Chaux Clair ✔️
Sponge finished ready to receive decoration (silicone based paint keeping it breathable not sealing it in) ✔️
