it’s been a LONG time since i’ve liked my arms. i think for many women, upper arms are a point of self-consciousness. while i still don’t love them, i’m also aware that this is the youngest i’ll ever be, that i created two lives and my body has changed, and there’s no way i’m giving up delicious food and wine. so the arms are coming out, and i’m going to learn to love them!

after 2+ years of living in southsea, i finally got to visit the top of ! here’s how we did it (and how i suggest you do as well):

make a booking at . we opted for the earlier booking time to view the sunset, which was absolutely stunning. you also get a complementary glass of moet champagne with your ticket! the cocktail bar typically has 2 booking slots, open thursday - sunday.

enjoy the new cocktail menu. we opted for some classics and some sky bar specials! not many mixologists here know how to do a margarita right imo - sky bar does. the expertly crafted cocktails were delicious (we had the rasp-limoncello spritz, breakfast margarita, passion fruit mojito, and espresso rumtini).

head up to the open air sky garden for an even higher view! truly the best vantage point to take in 1000 years of maritime history.

enjoy the lovely playlist, soak up the sunset from the best view in portsmouth, and come with great company!
