Progress on our renovation project 🔨
Both existing roofs have now been fully stripped back, and the smaller gable wall has been taken down to allow for the new layout.
All cleared and ready for the necessary alterations before we move on to constructing the new roof 👌

150mm insulation board has now been installed between the rafters of the main roof, helping to ensure excellent thermal performance and efficiency.
All part of building it properly from the ground up 👌

New project underway 🔨
We’re starting work on a property with two existing extensions, both with different roof structures. The plan is to strip both roofs back and install a new roof to tie everything together properly.
Scaffolding is now up and in place, ready for us to get started, along with plans for new skylights to bring more light into the space 👌
Looking forward to getting stuck into this one — more updates to follow as the project progresses.

The main roof is now fully completed, and the scaffolding around it has been dropped — always a great moment to see it finished and opened up 👌

Most of the roof tiles are now laid on one side, with everything set out and ready for the cuts into the valley where the new roof meets the existing house.

Great progress on our extension project 🔨
Roof tiles have now been loaded up onto the scaffolding, and we’ve started laying them on the roof.
We’re using some really nice reclaimed tiles to match in with the existing property, helping the new extension blend in seamlessly 👌
It’s the details like this that make all the difference on traditional builds.

One side of the roof has now been felted and battened, and the valleys have also been felted where the new roof ties into the existing roof.

A special milestone on our extension project 🔨
The final stone has now been laid on the gable — a great moment and a credit to some real skill and craftsmanship on site.
The project is really coming together now, and you can see the character of the build starting to shine through 👌
Next up is getting the roof felted and battened as we keep pushing things forward.

Great progress on our extension project 🔨
Both sides of the roof have now been fully raftered out, really bringing the structure together.
Next up is getting the noggins and straps in, along with installing the Velux windows to complete the roof framework.
Moving along nicely now 👌
