St Ives Guitar Services Guitar & bass set-ups, maintenance, restoration and repairs. I have been playing, setting up and repairing guitars for going on 17 years.

What started as a hobby naturally turned into a business when more and more friends, colleagues, and bandmates started coming to me to optimise their guitars' playability. Starting as a casual word-of-mouth business, I am moving into operating in a more official capacity, with a view to increase my client base.

Hello all, and happy new year.

Due to clashes with other work, family life, and personal endeavours, I have taken the decision to cease all guitar work until further notice.

I hope to reopen my doors at some point in the future, but as of today I am officially closed for business.

Thank you all for your loyal custom, and I hope to see you again in the future.

I've been getting an increasing amount of calls and emails lately, so I feel it's pertinent to make my current working status known;

Under the current rules I cannot safely or legally operate. The risks far outweigh the benefits, both financially and in terms of safeguarding vulnerable family members. I am therefore closing my doors for repair work until current restrictions are lifted.

I apologise for any inconvenience, but look forward to continuing once conditions allow. Those who have already made contact, please do so again once we are out the other side of this. Until then, please stay safe and I hope to see you soon.

This single ply matte black pair comprise of a Humbucker/Single/Humbucker configuration, a 45° bevelled edge, and a Charvel USA control layout.

Handmade 3-ply parchment (P/B/P) pickguard.

Will fit all MIJ So Cals, and the first run of MIM So Cals (pre-2016, before they introduced the spoke wheel truss rod adjustment)

H-H, standard pre-2016 control layout (1 volume k**b and 3 way toggle), 45° bevelled edges.

This would look amazing in a snow white MIJ So Cal!
