Goodbye from us!
After nearly a decade delivering sleepers to your lovely gardens, we have decided to focus our attention on other areas of the business and will no longer be re-stocking garden sleepers.
This has not been an easy decision to make, but we believe it will be the best for us as a business moving forward.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers and supporters from over the years.
We still have a few large incised sleepers left, but expect to sell out pretty soon.

These beauties have tiny incisions around every surface, which allows tanalith treatment to pe*****te further into the wood than standard treatments. As a result they last so long that the manufacturer offers a 15 year warranty 👍

SCL Sleepers is a part of Sam Cornall Ltd, a family-run company, bringing you the finest and most competitively priced sleepers delivered to your garden.
Sam Cornall Ltd (SCL) was founded in 2002 by Alex and Richard’s Dad, Sam, and has been based on Staughton Moor, just outside of St Neots, Cambridgeshire ever since. Originally the company was primarily a haulage business, delivering white goods throughout the UK. In later years the company has diversified to incorporate light industrial lettings, goods storage and of course the sale of railway sleepers.
Alex and Richard now run the company with the help of Liz in the office. They are always willing to share their extensive knowledge of sleepers and strive to provide the best products and services for their customers. Unlike the majority of their competitors, SCL Sleepers can often arrange for delivery to your garden, rather than simply making kerbside drops (subject to quotation). Due to the wide range of delivery vehicles available, SCL Sleepers are able to access a wide variety of sites, including off-road and areas with access problems. No order is too big or too small; whether it requires a pick-up 4×4 or an artic lorry to deliver.
SCL Sleepers sources competitively priced new sleepers from across the UK and Europe, ranging from softwoods through to hardwoods and oak, as well as European reclaimed railway sleepers. We sell to DIY-gardeners, landscapers, furniture craftspeople and anyone else who may require sleepers for improvement projects. We are happy to deal with trade enquiries and can offer discounts for large orders – please feel free to get in touch for details.
