Complaint of high oil consumption and low hot water performance in a large occupancy home.
We fitted a hot water meter to determine an issue and quickly determined an uncontrolled loss of hot water.
Within a short time frame, determined an unusual hot spot under their flooring on the ground floor, using thermal and confirmed with acoustic equipment.
Leak found. Rather than repair a pipe which has no protection from the cement screed around it, An alternative routed pipe was run in it's place.
