Room now with dark blue walls Speakers are Wharfedale blue tooth speakers with hub that allows TV to connect digitally and a Cambridge Duo Amplifier for phone input. all plays seamlessly through the Hub output via the speakers with out any visible cables. Sound quality is very good 😝🥰

Then we chose walnut acoustic panels for the final finish to the wall ... The fixing instructions suggested glueing with adhesive ....but I decided to discreetly use black screws .....in case there was ever a need to gain access behind for cabling issues etc...
which to be honest was a good move as I did forget a cat6 cable !!

The Audio Visual Room
We have a room , that was the garage , converted before we purchased. It had become the room of clutter and not really utilised. I had always promised my self room to watch movies in, a touch more special that watching T V in the lounge.
And I have a rather large collection of vinyl records that need to be enjoyed. so after a few months of going away in the Caravan enjoying our first summer of retirement , which was cut short by having our car nicked end of August.

I decided to start the Audio Visual Project

A few more pictures ....... shelves installed to client instructions
We have used new scaffolding planks which we will sand down and stain ..... we are leaving the planks in situ as they where quite damp. we need them dry before we stain them .
We have installed LED. strip to rear of the T V to back light , controls by a infrared hand movement sensor. Chimney breast has had all the screw holes filled sanded and received 2 coats of MDF primer.
