I am super excited to announce our very first ART COURSE, with the amazing and talented , who will be coming to Suffolk for a weekend of teaching. This can be booked as a day or the full weekend.

- The first day of this 2-day workshop will focus on the skills necessary to draw a figure, covering drawing exercises in observation, mark making and tonal rendering, culminating in a full/half figure or head portrait.

- The second day will focus on the application of paint, either in oils or acrylics. This will be about how to start painting, tonal value, colour, brush mark making and layering. The workshop will aim to take you out of any comfort zones and challenge your perceptions of what make a good portrait.

If you know of anyone who would enjoy this as a Christmas present or if you're interested, please pm me.

Please do check her page and website out, and don't forget, sharing is caring 😄

A bumper harvest of pears this year. I did give it a prune last year, though that might be a red herring. Birds, hornets and wasps are also interested. My first ever fig (rock hard)! The nasturtiums are still busy, and the Butternut have gone nuts, they're hiding everywhere 😄 and the caterpillars are still stripping my poor currants! 😢

Not working under trees in this blustery weather, so picked an 'easy' job 😆. Our neverending was enveloped in thistle, dock, nettle and grass. Found lots of little black pressies, too 🙄
