Here we have the 1st of two bathrooms we have been contracted to work our magic on for the lovely Carol & David in market weighton.
The customers requested if we could firstly reduce the height of the shower tray which was a staggering 200mm step up from floor & install a shower door to eliminate the shower curtain, along with a vanity unit for storage & better lighting.

So bright eyed bushy tailed with all the floors protected & coffee down us, away we go🤗

Firstly we completely stripped the ensuite & removed plaster boards for shower tray removel & reinstalling
We then carried out major alterations to waste pipe for shower which involved breaking up the concrete floor to then enable shower tray & waste to be installed at ground level for easy access.
Relocation of plumbing of hot/cold feeds for basin, toilet, shower & radaitor pipework were carried out as required before installing toilet internal cistern to wall.
Toilet frame work & removeable cistern access shelf was then constructed & plaster boarded along with a neish in shower area, before the sealing of all walls & floors.
The tiling & grouting accompanied with fully mitred chrome trims was then carried out to shower area & half tiling to remainder of room.
Then it was onto too the preparation & decorating of walls & ceilings & fittings of new led ceiling lights.
Insulation boards were laid to concrete floor to retain heat before laying Woodpecker lvt floors & installing tiled feature skirtings & chrome trims.

Finally it was on to the final 2nd fixing of a Mira airboost electric shower, chrome pivot door enclosure, back to wall toilet pan, pneumatic dual air flush, soft close seat, towel radiator with corner valves, gloss white slimline 600 vanity unit, tap, basin, led mirror cabinet with built in demister & shaver point.

I love ❤️ the jobs you can really get your teeth 😬 into and this first biggy of 2026 is an absolute beauty 🥰 for the lovely Nicky @ Market Weighton

Nicky was desperate 🫣 for more storage & had no use for the bath 🛀 & found the shower to small so on went the thinking cap🤔
Upon on her saying a prayer🙏 for her old bathrooms loyal service over the years, let the stripping out began.😜😃

Below you can see the pictures of this stunning project finished in stunning brass from start to finish comprising of 1800 x 800 shower tray with fast flow waste, newly constructed wall with built in 200mm deep neish, plastering & decorating of ceiling with multi functional led downlights & plinth lighting, full tiling floor to ceiling with these beautiful 600 x 300 stone effect porcelain tiles & brass square edge trims, dual brass bar shower, recollection of horizontal brass towel rail with thermostatic corner valves, Merlyn 1000 shower screen, brace bar with fully folding 300 flipper screen, Woodpecker Lvt fully waterproof flooring, full run of Roper Rhodes Burford Sage furniture units with tall unit with 600mm inset sink & portland stone worktop with brass fixtures & fittings, comfort height soft close rimless toilet with pneumatic dual oval flush, illuminated magnifying mirror & under plinth strip lighting & that in a nutshell is about it, phew 😅

Here we have a lovely ensuite we have just completed for the lovely Naomi & Tom in Stamford Bridge..

The job comprised originally of a relatively simple job of removing & renewing the old tired shower tray, enclosure, basin, toilet & flooring & leaving all the original wall tiling, but in the true world of plumbing it soon went the other way!!
Upon stripping out the above the shower enclosure & tray had been leaking causing extensive damage to sub floor.
Upon removal of floor we found other issues with shower & basin wastepipe as well as badly fitted towel rail, basin & toilet pipeworks, all these issue were rectified before fitting a new sub floor & shower tray.
Tiling around the shower tray base had to be redone before finally laying new Woodpecker LVT flooring & fitting new comfort height toilet, vanity basin, mirror cabinet & enclosure

It all turned out good in the end & the end result achieved.

Well folks this is the last job for me too wrap up 2025 & what an absolute corker to finish with for the lovely Dave & Sue in time for Christmas 🎄 🎄 🎄

Below are the pictures of this stunning bronze finish project from start to finish comprising of 1800 x 800 wetroom, built in shower with pump upgrade, drencer head & handheld, built in neish, towel rail, 900 shower screen with 300 flipper screen, 800 anthracite soft close 2 draw basin unit, wall hung toilet, led down lights, inline extractor fan & floor & walls fully tiled floor to ceilings with these amazing 1000 x 500 large format porcelain tiles

I've thought I would upload this beauty we did going back 8 years to the day in 2017 working up to Christmas eve to complete..

I won't go through the whole write up as the pictures tell the story other than to say it was a massive undertaking

I wasn't dealing with the lovely Tony Martin Wolds Plumbing & Heating Supplies Ltd but Tile with Style did supply the amazing travatine tiles

I still to this day work for the lovely Jane & Dave as there plumber & am returning this coming day to swap shower & basin taps over after all these years..

To this day I kid you not that bathroom looks as good as the day it was put in down to Jane's love of cleaning lol 😆

Hi all..

Here we have another bathroom project that we completed last month where the customers wanted us to replace the bath with a walk in shower enclosure.

The customers wanted to keep all the original bathroom fixtures & fittings & tiles etc

As from the photos we carried out the removel of bath etc, tiles, boxing & plumbing etc before then fitting low profile shower tray chasing all pipework into concrete floor.
We untook various plumbing, joinery & plastering works before tiling etc with a great matched up tile & fitting out with new screens etc.
We also fitted a shower pump to upgrade the shower pressures

We are getting increasingly asked to carry out many of these installations where not everyone wants or actually needs the full rip out & full installation at thousands of pounds but it can certainly be achieved with a little thought as you can see...

Hi all..
Here we have bathroom project we have completed this week where the customers wanted us to replace the bath with a walk in shower enclosure.

As you can see from the photos we started by stripping out & keeping the tiles, toilet, basin, mirror cabinet & blind..

And away we go with putting it back together !!!

We carried out the complete removal & replumbing of all pipework for radiator, shower, toilet & basin, relocating also all waste pipework under floors to eliminate the ugly boxing in.
Reboarding of walls with water proof boarding along with overlaying main floor & self levelling were done before finally installing shower tray.

These beautiful shower boards were then installed along with retiling as required from the retrieval & cleaning up of tiles from above bath as the tiles were no longer available.

Finally we laid laid Woodpecker fully water proof oak effect flooring, before carrying out final fix of shower, screen, toilet, basin (with new internals & taps etc) mirror cabinet, accessories, led light and radiator

We are getting increasingly asked to carry out many of these installations where not everyone wants or actually needs the full rip out & full installation at thousands of pounds but it can certainly be achieved with a little thought as you can see...

Here's a lovely little downstairs toilet we recently tranformed.

As you can see upon fully stripping out old suite a serious past leak from the toilet had caused water damage to both furniture & floor..

So we started by eliminating all the ugly exposed pipework on back wall with a false wall along with isulating to retain heat.
The ceiling was reboared & plastered along with new led down light.
The floor was self levelled to original hallway floor before laying Woodpecker Flooring to a flush finish to hallway floor.
Replumbing alterations were then carried out for radiator, basin & toilet.
Finally we carried out the final fixing of this lovely grey marble effect single wall panel, furniture, worktop, toilet cistern, basin, tap, toilet, plumbing, radiator & valves & feature skirtings with chrome trims to add that finishing touch..

Well this down stairs toilet certainly goes down as the poshest ever in Homemed Plumbing history lol 😆

There was do much work involved in this project as it involved moving the current location of toilet cloakroom to the opposite side of wall where the current coat cupboard was as customer wanted the coat room in the hallway.

We first started by stripping out the downstairs toilet & relocating plumbing into room next door before then plastering & decorating.
We took entrance hallway carpet up & laid Kardean flooring to hallway & new coat room 😀

Now into rebuilding a new toilet cloakroom consisting of replumbing of basin waste pipe, hot/cold feeds, right side piller, internal cistern stud work construction, boarding, plastering, floor tiling, panelling, dado rail, skirtings, wallpapering, decorating, make worktop/shelfs before fitting out with this beautiful Burlington toilet, basin/frame, taps, radiator & there you have it 😀

I'd like to thank Leigh & Sam for the bussiness & greatly appreciated patience with me whilst struggling with health issues but we got there & stunning it is
