A lovely day for some topiary...

I love this border, the tightly clipped buxus, the slightly looser Pittosporum Tom Thumb, combined with the ground cover variegated Euonymus, with the ornamental grass adding movement in the breeze creates a perfect welcoming entrance.

An upgrade on some previously very twee planters for our commercial client...

Planted up with perennials with a succession of colour from April through to October all matching the businesses branding.

These will be removed in autumn, replanted for autumn and winter, and the perennials will be looked after ready to be planted again next season...

Box Caterpillar or Box Blight?
They’re often confused — but they’re completely different problems.

🐛 Box Caterpillar

Webbing inside the plant

Leaves stripped or skeletonised

Green caterpillars and black droppings visible

Damage can happen incredibly fast

Black streaks on stems

Brown leaf spots
