Some additional plants for sale from tomorrow morning:
Brunnera macrophyla ‘Jack Frost’. Fabulous plant, one of my favourites. Usually Spring flowering (it’s flowering now as it was lifted from the garden, divided and cut back). Best in light shade. Perennial, cut back to ground level spring before new growth. Large plants £4; small £2.50. Very limited stock.
Verbena bonariensis. Tall, purple flowers. Great for adding height to the garden. These are young perennials grown from seed this year. They will flower this year but will really get going next year. Just cut down to about 10-15cm in spring. £2.50 each.
Campanula glomerata. Low growing and ground spreading. Lilac flowers - about to flower now. £3.00 each. Again very limited stock.
Hoping to get some coreopsis, verbascums and foxgloves ready for next weekend. Watch this space! Some fabulous varieties of the foxgloves including, apricot; Pam’s choice; Giant primrose; lemoncello; Exceldior hybrids. Verbascums and foxgloves won’t flower until next year but plant them now and they’ll set down good roots for next year - and at a bargain price in contrast to garden centres!
