🚨 Leaking Stopcock Call-Out 🚨
Got called out to a property with a leaking stopcock behind the kitchen units 👀
As you can see, the original valve was heavily corroded and past its best — years of wear had caused it to seize and start leaking 💧 Not something you want to ignore, as it can quickly turn into a bigger issue.
🔧 Carried out:
• Isolated the main water supply
• Removed the old, seized stopcock
• Cleaned up the pipework
• Installed a new 15mm lever valve for easy future isolation
Now the system is fully watertight ✅ and much easier for the homeowner to operate if needed.
👉 Tip: If your stopcock is stiff, leaking, or hasn’t been used in years, it’s worth getting it checked before it fails completely.
