Keeping Edinburgh moving! 🚋🌳

When major commercial clients like Edinburgh Trams need professional grounds maintenance and specialist arboriculture services, they call in the KB team.

Here are some before-and-after shots of us pushing back overgrown, encroaching vegetation along the tram lines to keep the public network running safely.

✨ What a transformation from last week!

The team were out in Dollar tackling a tree and hedge reduction that had gotten a bit out of hand.🌳

The boundary line was so overgrown that it was genuinely hard to tell it was even a hedge anymore - it looked like a row of separate trees!

By carefully reducing the height and bringing the sides back in, we've completely transformed the space. Both properties now have a massive amount of natural light flooding back into their gardens, and everything looks neat and tidy.

🪺 And of course before a single cut was made, the team carried out a thorough check for any active bird nests to ensure we didn't disturb the local wildlife.

Please join us in wishing Thaine a very happy birthday today! 🥳

He may be ever so slightly camera shy - can you even spot him in these photos? 🤔 - but he's a big character in real life!

Thaine has been an essential part of the KB team for almost two years now. He is training to be a tree surgeon and spends most of his time working with the tree team, but you'll also see him stepping into different roles across our w**d control, grass cutting, and hedge teams whenever needed.

When we're back at the work unit, Thaine is always up for a bit of healthy competition on the pool table when time allows! 🎱😉
