“Come polish a marble floor with me”

✨ Marble Floor Restoration in Progress ✨

A lot of people see the finished shine, but the real work happens in the preparation.

Today we were polishing this marble floor using our Hybrid Diamond system. These diamonds are ideal for floors that haven’t previously been fully ground, allowing us to remove minor lippage while still achieving an exceptional polish.

The process starts with protecting all walkways using Packexe fleece before working through the diamond stages from 400 grit right up to 3000 grit. Each stage is completed wet using our Conan machine and splash guard, with slurry immediately recovered using our Triple Vac and 90-litre recovery tank to keep the site clean and prevent water migration.

As we progress through each grit, the clarity and reflection continue to build until the stone develops a deep, natural shine.

The final step today was buffing the floor with a white pad to remove any remaining residue before leaving it overnight to dry, ready for sealing tomorrow.

Natural stone restoration isn’t a quick fix—it’s a process. But when it’s done correctly, the results speak for themselves. 👌

🎥 VLOG – Week in the Life of a Floor Restorer 🛠️

Another busy week on the road… 👷‍♂️

Started the week with a pool clean and seal project in Cheshire 🏊‍♂️

Then it was onto a few quotes at some seriously stunning properties 👀🏡

After that, we headed down to London to carry out work at a property in Belgravia 🇬🇧

Meanwhile, Alex and Oliver made their way back out to Milan 🇮🇹 to work on some extra areas from the last project — including the restaurant floor and stairs.

That also gave us the chance to see the tables from our previous visit all installed and finished… and honestly, the final result looked incredible 🔥

Massive transformation seeing the whole restaurant come together.

Next week’s looking just as busy — Lake District, back to London, then finishing the week in Cheshire 🚐💨

🎥 VLOG – Switzerland Visit 🇨🇭

Next stop — Switzerland 🇨🇭

We headed over to check out a seriously impressive, James Bond–style hotel… proper luxury setting 🔥

This one’s all about surveying up and putting together a quote for marble tables throughout the site.

Met up with the hotel manager, grabbed a coffee, and talked through the plans ☕👌

After that, he pointed us in the direction of a viewing spot at the top of their private lane…

And honestly — the views were something else 👀🏔️

One of those moments where you just stop and take it in.

Not a bad place to be working…

🎥 VLOG – Final Day: Milan Project 🇮🇹

Final day on the Milan job… and we got it done 👌

All 52 tables completed, finished, and stacked — ready to head down to the restaurant for the grand opening on Tuesday 🔥

Big effort from everyone to get this over the line.

With everything wrapped up, it was time to pack up the vans and get on the road…

But first — had to celebrate 🥂

We booked a night in Como, found a lake view restaurant, and enjoyed some proper food… tapas, good views, and a chance to finally switch off 🍽️🌅

Headed back to the hotel in Como after that —

Tomorrow we’re off to Switzerland 🇨🇭 to check out a hotel to quote for some more marble tables… and trust me, this one’s something special 👀
