DONT UPGRADE YOUR LOCKS AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN BURGLED. DO IT NOW!
I would like to urge all to spend 5 mins to check if your external door locks need upgrading to the 3 star kite mark locks. Bog standard cylinder locks are easily broken allowing quick access by thieves.
It is so simple and inexpensive (approx £45)to replace these locks because you can do it yourself in 20 minutes.
3 star locks have to meet high security standards of manufacture with built in anti tamper features. They do make a massive difference to home security and hence peace of mind.
My name is Pete, after retiring (very early) I have decided to become a local community handyman.
After a spate of burglaries I am on a mission to get everyone to fit better cylinder locks which will deter most thieves to try somewhere else. To get me introduced to the community and to give a bit back to it, I am offering to fit for free, an upgraded cylinder lock to any High Lane resident that wants assistance but you must obtain your the own locks for obvious security reasons.
