Construction is now well under way at our proposal in Glanton. We have been working closely with our client to create this bespoke new residence, with a particular nod to the arts and crafts period and Frank Lloyd Wright.

The dwelling has been designed sensitively within the nearby conservation area, adopting traditional details and materiality of the local village alongside aspects of the new.

The stone used is locally sourced, whilst the more modern render and zinc cladding inject contemporary finishing touches.

We’re very excited to see this scheme progress!

Construction has begun at our client’s rural residence in Glanton!

Inspired by the local vernacular and surrounding landscape, this home when finished will feel synonymous with its site, and appear to emerge from the hillside.

With the foundations completed, and initial settings out underway, you can already grasp the design orientation and fantastic views it allows across the valley.
