Great opportunity to work as a Window & Door Installer. Smarthomes is recruiting for a Window and door fitter.

Your Time at Work As a Window Fitter your duties include:

• Installing windows, doors, conservatories in buildings and structures
• Installing glazed curtain walls in buildings and structures.

The job role involves:

• Using hand and power tools to remove old windows, doors and conservatories
• Measuring up a space for new windows or doors • Fixing single or double-glazed windows and doors in place
• Building conservatories and glasshouses
• Sealing fittings to make them weathertight and improve buildings energy efficiency
• Clearing away leftover materials after a job. Our ideal Window Fitter will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have a good understanding of English, both verbal and written, a good understanding of building and construction, good math and logical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail. Previous experience working within a similar role is required.
